EXTRACTS from 2 leases. One lease [probably Crown Lease] to John Wynn of all those mines of copper, lead, tin and other minerals and quarries of slate, stone and limestone found on wastes and commons in parishes Llandwrog, Llanwnda, Llanrug, Bettws Bark, Llangwstamin [Llangystennin], Eglwys Rhos, Cuffin [Gyffin], Dwugufylchi [Dwygyfylchi] and within the liberty of the borough of Conwy. The second, a Crown Lease to Thomas Browne and William Stollings of mines of lead, copper, tin and other minerals found, gained, dug or opened within the waste, common or mountain, 3½ miles by 2 miles called Cwmdu, parishes Berthcelert [Beddgelert], Bettws and Llanlifin [?Llanllyfni], with a reservation of all Royal Mines.
