LETTER: David Jones, Ffestiniog, to Lord [Newborough] listing the tenants and undertenants in and near Ffestiniog giving the residence and the rent paid. Particulars of the accounts of the Llanryg [Llanrug] and Llanllyfni quarries would soon be sent to his Lordship. There were over 200 tons of fine slates at Cilgwyn Newydd ready for sale according to his Lordship’s instructions. He had been at Gallt y Calch and Gelli grin trying to act as a peacemaker; more information about that neighbourhood would soon be sent to his Lordship. [N.L.W. Glynllivon 2116]
