NO ACCESS TO THE PUBLIC WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION TO DOCUMENTS XD2/11349-12641.[NOTE: the records listed in XD2/11349-12641 were largely found together, and emanate from the Estate Office and its subordinate Estate Yard Office (where building maintenance, etc. was organised). They largely date from the appointment of a new agent, J. Heathcote Addie and clerk of works, A.J. Wilkins, and reflect a lessening of direct personal involvement on the part of the landowner. This has resulted in the creation of new series very largely devoid of the personal and private business which formerly intermingled with the business papers of the estate. For this reason, it is felt best to place all post 1903, (and a little earlier associated) material relating to estate affairs together in the following three sections.]

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
