LETTER: W.O. Stanley, Penrhos, to Lord Newborough, explaining why his agent did not suggest a meeting between the parties. He refers to a plan. His Lordship’s tenant had been peat-cutting in the area and made a shallow cut to drain off surface water. The proposed diversion may be beneficial to his Lordship’s land but prejudicial to Rev. J.O. Jones.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
