LETTER: Farrer and Co., Lincoln Inn Fields, [London] to Thos Brown, No. 16 Clements Inn, London, stating that M. Elias Jones and Mr. Bettiss are expected in London on Monday week re an advantageous offer which has been made for the slate quarry at Ffestiniog. They would be obliged if he could meet Mr. Jones and Mr. Bettiss at that time. Appended: NOTE of reply to above letter (10 Dec. 1812): stating that he cannot attend on the fourteenth as he will be on that day receiving the rents of Heydon Rectory, near Royston. Cannot be in town before the eleventh or twelfth of the next month.
