XES/5/Friars/60

LETTER: Thomas Williams, William Williams, T. Glynne, John Bodwrda and Thomas Madryn at Caernarfon to unnamed recipients. They ask the recipients to assist Mr. Meredith, master of the Free Grammar School of Bangor in recovering sums of money, issuing from tithes in Shropshire and lands in Southwark, due to the school. The ’Dean and Chapter of Bangor Cathedral were the governors of the school, but because that ’corporation’ had been ’made voyd by the Honourable houses of Parliament’, the school was unable to recover the money.
