LETTER: Griff[ith] Jones, [Yoke House], Pwllhely [Pwllheli], to Lord Newborough, enclosing a letter from Mr. Dyke, his bond, note of hand and bill to be sent to him when his Lordship heard from Mr. Morgan that the money was actually paid. He wonders what Mr. Shearman would think of Mr. Dyke’s memory about the twelve months. He had written to Mr. Wynn Williams the previous Tuesday to secure Tyn y lone and to look at Tyddyn ?Rettan in a week to nine day’s time. He was not able to see Sir Love Parry on the previous Wednesday. [N.L.W. Glynllivon 2713.]

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
