LETTER: Henry Hope Werninck, 7 Rue de Caudenberg, Bruxelles, to [Lord] Newborough. He is practising as a solicitor, despite rumours that he merely borrowed £200 to settle old scores. If he does not get sufficient business he will cease activities as a solicitor. The weather is very cold, and the poor in Belgium are miserable, although not as badly off as they are in Ireland.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
