LETTER: Henry Hope Werninck, 76 Margaret St., Cavendish Square, [London], to [Lord] Newborough. He would have liked to explain personally to his Lordship why he wanted a loan from the Trust fund. He needs the money for present business matters as soon as he returns to Belgium, and requests £200, repayable over 2½ years, the repayments to be taken out of his quarterly income. He hopes his Lordship can now agree to the request.
