STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS from Elias Jones, Gorswen, to Messrs. Farrer and Co., Lincolns Inn Fields, London, of the rents of the Abbey and demesne due from Mr. Horan to Lord Newborough’s trustees, for the period 1811-1819, and Mr. Horan’s claims. He states that he and Mr. Bettiss had visited the Abbey and decided that the rent of £150 was a moderate one, but Lady Newborough was unwilling for them to take an inventory. Nohing could be done about Mr. Horan’s effects. [N.L.W. Glynllivon 2523.]
