LETTER: Charles Tottenham, Woodstock, N.T. Mt. Kennedy, to Hon. C. Wynn. After hearing of the dissolution of the Corwen Association [re the River Dee], he applied to Mr. Lloyd of Rhagatt and Mr. Parry Jones of Peniarth for leave to preserve their portions of the Dee and has had permission. Mr. Lloyd has been dissatisfied with the Association, since the "ticket of leave" men have been interfering with the amateur fishermen. If Corwen people have free tickets, why should Llansantfraid [Llansantffraid] and Cynwyd people also have them? He suggests that the river between Cynwyd Bridge and Corwen Bridge be free, and from there to Llansantfraid Bridge be added to the Glyndwr preserve.

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
