RECEIPT of Griffith ap Elisse ap Howell ap Res, brother and executor to Res ap Elisse, for 40s. received from Master Robert ap Rice, clerk, on 5 August [1529], at the demand of the said Res ap Elisse, for the expenses of his burial, being the purchase money for lands bought by Master Robert from Res; also for £4.6s.8d. paid to the same by the same in part payment of a sum due to him from the same land according to the will of his brother.
