LETTER: E. Jones, Ruthin, to [the Rev. Mr. Lloyd at Rug] with new regulations for filling vacancies at Ruthin Hospital. The occupants of the two chambers near the cloisters are to be named by the heirs of Sir Robert Salesbury and in default by the nearest justices. Mr. Thelwall and Mr. Clough have presented 2 old women to one of the chambers. Young Mr. Price’s right should not be allowed to lapse. If Mr. Price is not the heir male the right belongs to the Mr. Salesbury who contested Bachymbyd estate. Someone should write to the bishop of Bangor warning him not to elect and E.J. not to admit the Justices’ nominees. [N.L.W. Rug 1262.]
