LETTER: Br__een, to Roger Salesbury, at Rug. He has discussed the cases with R.S.’s friend; the latter thinks R.S. and the ladies should each choose a counsellor and what they cannot determine he will undertake. He encloses Mr. Browne’s opinion and the sheriff’s names [not present]. Francis Evans will not agree that David Lloyd should take responsibility for John Lloyd’s arrears. The interest demanded is to be determined by a court. They must have a commission or they will never come to an end with this troublesome surety. He suggests his son as a commissioner. He will meet Hugh Jones in Oswestry next week to discuss matters in difference. [N.L.W. Rug. 1268.]
