LETTER: Rowland Wynne to Roger Salesbury at Rug. He has amended his draft, but needs more information about Cileurich, jointure of O.S.’s widow. The answer should be perfected by the same hand that corrected it at London. He has struck out the accusation of trampling on the altar as it may cause scandal. He has been too ill to attend to his own affairs so could not wait on R.S. or visit John Vaughan, who is much indisposed. He is returning all the papers. He has not contracted with the bearer, knowing him to be easily contented. [N.L.W. Rug 1254.]

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
