Roedd John Wickens yn ffotograffydd adnabyddus iawn ym Mangor, gyda stiwdios yn Stryd Fawr Bangor a Ffordd y Coleg, Bangor Uchaf. Fe’i ganed ym 1865 ac fe fu marw ar y 22 o Fehefin 1936, oed 71. Fe’i claddwyd ym Mynwent Glanadda, Bangor.

John Wickens was a very well-known Bangor photographer with studios in High Street, Bangor and at College Road, Upper Bangor. Born in 1865 he died 22 June 1936 aged 71 and is buried at Glanadda Cemetery, Bangor.
