PETITION of William Gruffyth of Pwllhelie [Pwlheli], shoemaker. Following an assault on him by John Elis of Pwllhelie [Pwllheli], W.G. did not press charges since his attacker was seen to be repentant. A right course of action is requested to prevent further assaults by J.E. Endorsed (in another hand): NOTE: "The warrant to be returned by the Constable Harry ap Humfrey of Pwllhely [Pwllheli] otherwise an attachement against him."
