DEPOSITIONS of Humphrey Roberts of Llanfilhaiarn [Llanaelhaearn?] re theft of corn and horses of Richard Lloyd of Pwllhely [Pwllheli], gent., at Melin-yr-?ynt-goch by Owen and Katherin verch Hugh of Llanfilhaiarn [Llanaelhaearn?], and Hugh Griffiths miller. Appended: (in another hand); NOTE: "The malt was not a ?hobett worth 4s a one measure of rye worth 4s. about a hobett of barley worth 4s." [A "hobett" is a corruption of the Welsh "hobaid" meaning a "peck"]. Document defective: Fragile and incomplete.
