MEMORANDUM OF DEPOSITIONS taken before Edmond Glynne, Tythyn Tudur, [Tyddyn Tudur] Esq. 1. That Dorothy verch John of Llanvihangell, [Llanfihangel] aged c 50, on the 22nd of January, saw as she was leaving the church of Dolbenmen [Dolbeanmaen], Richard ap Hugh ap William ap Evan of Llecheiddior assaulting Owen Williams of Llecheiddior, by hitting him on the head with a cudgill. Dated February 25. 2. That Thomas Moris, Penmorfa, Petty Constable having a warrant to bring Richard Hugh before the Justice of the Peace, to answer for several misdemeanours and the affray upon Owen ap William on the Lord’s Day at Dolbenmaen and that Richard entered the house of Hugh ap William ap Evan and that Hugh locked the house so that the constable cou1d not get Richard to leave. Dated March 24.
