PRESENTMENT of the Grand Jury of the General Session. Information of Griffith ap John Griffith, Llangwnadl [Llangwnnadl], yeoman, that Richard Thomas Griffith, churchwarden of the pa.[rish] of Llangwnadle [Llangwnnadl] permitted buying and selling and wakes in Llangwnadle [Llangwnnadl] on Sunday October 2 and also of selling ale in the house of Richard ap Robert where the following were assembled:- David ap Robert, weaver, Evan ap Richard, pa.[rish] of Penllech , Smyth, Morgan ap Morgan, Aberdaron, weaver, Thomas Griffith, Aberdaron, weaver, David ap John Griffith, Llangwnadle [Llangwnnadl], Smyth, Robert John ap Hugh, Llangwnadle [Llangwnnadl] and also Thomas Griffith, Dydweiliog [Tudweiliog] who sold tobacco. 2. Information of Richard John Edmond that William John Thomas and Evan William, churchwardens of Llanryg [Llanrug] allowed drink to be sold at the house of Richard Roberts, William ap R... on Sunday.
