LETTER: John Timothy for J. W. Jarrett, Provincial A.I.M.M. Insurance Society Ltd., Vron, Nefyn to [?Capt. Edward Williams], writing from the office of the directors. He confirms a telegram which he sent this day, viz. that the directors have decided that a survey be held, that the vessel should not proceed as it is unseaworthy, and should be put on slip. The ship must be caulked, and the copper stripped, at the expense of the owners. He asks him to sell the old copper there and do his best to keep expenses down.
