LETTER: John and Catherine Timothy, Borth, Porthmadog to [Capt. Edward Williams], thanking him for his letter, and hoping that the Gotenburg fr[e]ight will come through and also that his barque will go out alright. They received a letter from Nefyn yesterday. There is a call due later this month and he [John Timothy] is thinking of going to Nefyn on Thursday morning to a friend of Capt. [Prichard], Miss Pritchard’s father, and will probably stop over Sunday. He has not heard of the Nanhoron’s arrival but thinks she is at her port of destination by this time. They are making a new chapel of the old Salem: repairs will cost at least £6000 Evan Lewis is doing joiner work. Evan Pierce who used to be master of the New Dove was buried yesterday. His address will be: Capt. Timothy, Twmpath, Morfa Nefyn, N. Wales. They are all well at Glanllyn and Ty gwyn.
