LETTER: From: Lord Newborough To: R.A. Poole, Esq., Clerk of the Peace, Caernarfon. Re W.H. George. The Turnkey is again complaining of George’s running of the Prison. There is widespread discontent. The governor is giving the prisoners extra rations to try to secure their future support. Poole is asked to discuss the matter with Mr. Powell.
