LETTER: Charles Mytton of Welshpool, Mont, to Lewis. He writes that he had an offer for the Queen’s Hotel, which he would have accepted if he had not begun the sale to his brother. He advises him to write to Mr. Marcy or something may happen. He has heard that a lot of commercial men are coming to the Queen’ s presently and this will mean a lot of money to someone who manages it properly.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
