LETTER: M. Woolf of Woolf and Marley, dealers in ostrich feathers, fans, boas and South African native curios, shipping tailors and providers, Short’s Arcade, Point, Durban, to Captain Hughes, expressing their sympathy re the misfortune to the Inverness and hoping that the recipient was well and happy at home with his family. He suggests that this may induce Captain Hughes’ son to consider a shore vocation, and hopes that the news from the western front continues to be encouraging.
