LETTER: Henry Thomas, Port Stanley, Falkland Islands, to his nephew, David P. Thomas, People’s Cafe, Castle Sq., Caernarfon, solicitor, re Robert Thomas’s death which he had heard of from Catherine Ellen. He wished he had been there to help them. He is glad that David’s mother has decided to keep on the Cafe. He notices from David’s letter how kind Joseph Roberts, Mrs. Roberts, Victoria St., Tom Jones and Henry Parry, had been and asks for his sincere thanks to be conveyed to them. He also notes how exceptionally large the funeral was and states that Robert had many friends.

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
