LETTER: R.J. Thomas, Barque Cambrian Warrior, Victoria Dock, Melbourne, Australia, to his uncle, aunt and cousin in answer to their letter, and tells them that he has asked his father to allow him to leave the sea and be a ironmonger. He writes about the miserable passage which they did in 95 days compared to 99 days taken by the C. Princess. He is glad his father has arrived safe after a long voyage. Mentions his cousin’s education and wishes he had continued at school instead of going to sea.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
