TREASURER’S DEPARTMENT RECORDS
[These include records of the utilities which were taken over from the Local Board of Health on the formation of the Borough Council in 1883, or which were taken over from private companies. (See XB9/12 for records of the Bangor Water and Gas Company.) The provision of electricity passed to MANWEB in 1948, that of gas to the Wales Gas Board in 1949, and that of water to the Eryri Water Board in 1967. Bangor Pier was closed in 1971.]
