LETTER: B. J. King at West End Estate Office, Pwllheli to Messrs. S. Andrews and Son at Cardiff. Mr. Higgins has said would like to buy Hotel and Parade if could buy enough land on other side of garage on front to build super Hotel on that site and modernise West End Hotel and houses on Parade. Would want to buy all freehold. Believes Butlin’s camp will be making of Pwllheli. That O.C.T.U. training there will be good advert. Appears Mr. Butlin will be interested in scheme. Re Mr. Higgins’s business at London. Wants enquiries kept confidential as nothing can be done until after war. Have returned to Pwllheli and will not be in Pwllheli for another fortnight.
