LETTER: W.A, Madocks, The Hay [co. Brecon] to Mr. John Williams, Tremadog. He wishes to know positively that Bedwell has paid the rent or what Ramsey Williams is doing, and what Mr. Nanney is doing about the lease. What alterations he makes, the terms and when WAM shall be wanted to confirm and get it finished. He has written to Mr. Fowler, and when he hears from him he will let JW know. What reports does JW hear about WAM? The busy impertinence of the world is always at work about other peoples concerns and if they trouble their heads in thinking of him, he shall return the compliment by not thinking of them. Has JW caught much fish lately. WAM must settle account for Wheatley. P.S. It is Hugh Jones who sets Wynn of Wern on to get an exchange with Mr. Watkin for them Hugh Jones having the command over Wynn, will get Wern Llafrothen a bargain, join it to Ty Mawr, increase his interest about Llanfrothen and shall be more eager than ever for the road to Beddgelert. [Formerly W.A. Madocks Letters BJC/168/171].
