Richard Hughes, deceased, directed his trustees, including Ellis Davies, to provide a scholarship within twelve months of his death to send a child born in the parish of Bettws Garmon or Waunfawr in the co. Caernarfon to secondary school or college. Includes list of those chosen by the Trustees to receive a scholarship. Also contains list, at the back, of benefactors of the R.T. Hughes Deceased Bontnewydd Orphanage Fund 1936-1937, and 1938-1939.
