LETTER: Edward Spencer from the Cambridge estate, Trelawny, Jamaica, (recipient not named). The recipient is entitled by Jamaican law to inherit the negro property owned by his late brother. He has sent two puncheons of rum to Liverpool by the ship Elizabeth. He advises the recipient to show this letter to his lawyer to settle the business.
