LETTER: Thomas Ellis of Bodvel to Mr. Anwyl, Dolgellau, re the case H.M. Attorney General on behalf of the Churchwardens of Deneio -v- David Williams and William Jones. One of the defendants is dead. The case continues against the other one. He asks him to reckon up and tax the costs in the case and adds that he can be very liberal in doing so as there is no probability of getting a half-penny from him because of his poverty.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
