X/POOLE/6138

LETTER: David Anwyl of Llanycil to O.A. Poole. Discussing the case of Thomas Davies, a Llanrwst shopkeeper, who sold his goods at a fair in Caernarfon without taking out a hawker’s licence. Part of his goods were seized by the constables. Mr. Davies was not taken before a J.P. as he should have been. In his opinion he should have been exempted from the act. Asks Poole to look into the case.
