X/POOLE/4501

CASE AND OPINION of George Perrott of the Inner Temple. John Bray, vicar of Llansilin, died and John Sky was instituted to the living in his place. It was customary in the parish to put out the tithe lambs and wool at the beginning of June. The lambs were all dropped and some wool was shorn while Mr. Bray lived. Opinion is asked on whether the lambs and wool belong to the new incumbent or the representatives of the old vicar.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
