COPY WILL of Rice Anwyl of the township of Garthgarmon, parish of Llanrwst, co. Denbs., gent. He is indebted to several persons. Therefore he leaves all his lands and houses in the townships of Garthgarmon and Ty brith ucha, parish of Llanrwst, co. Denbs. to William Lloyd of Gwrych co. Denbs. Esq., Thomas Kyffin of Maenan, co. Caernarfon, Esq. and the Rev. Thomas Wynne rector of Carmsoff, co. Denbs. as trustees. They are to pay his wife Jane an annuity of £15 in lieu of dower and a £6 annuity to his eldest daughter Margaret Anwyll and a £5 annuity to his second daughter Elizabeth Anwyll. His trustees are to use the remainder of the profits of his estate to discharge his debts. (His personal estate is not to be used until his son William Anwyl comes of age). On his son reaching 21 years and giving an undertaking to discharge the debts and pay the above annuities, the estates are to be conveyed to him. Various provisions in case of death of the legatees. The trustees are to see to the education and maintenance of his son. Appoints his wife as executrix. (Found with X/POOLE/3244).
