PROBATE OF WILL (6 May 1720) of James Evans of Llanforda, co. Salop, gent. Devises all his property to his friend John Davies of Glascoed, co. Denbs. in trust to sell to discharge a mortgage of £100 plus interest to John Williams of Chester, Esq. and a debt of £300 to Mrs. Lettice Fuckes of Pool, spinster. The rest he leaves to his nephew James Owen whom he appoints as executor.
