COPY WILL of William Williams of Pentir, co. Caernarfon, gent. Leaves 20/- to the Cathedral Church at Bangor and 20/- to the parish church at Pentir, together with his large new Welsh common prayer book and his large Welsh bible. To his eldest son leaves all the furniture in the hall and 40/- for a ring to his wife. To his son William Williams leaves all the furniture in the parlour and all the bedsteads in the house with all the brewing vessels to be taken away only with his mother’s consent. To his servants Mary Jones and John Edwards leaves 5/- each. Leaves £10 to his daughter Anne Green and £40 to Mary Green her daughter provided she marries with her grandmother’s consent. To his daughters Letticia Vaughan and Jane Wynne £20 each and to his son Jeffrey Williams £5. Leaves £20 to his second son Henry Williams, clerk, rector of Llanfaethlu. To eldest son leaves his interest in his debenture lands in Ireland. Leaves his cousin Jeffrey Williams of Trertharn, co. Stafford, 2 sticks with a crooked head. Rest of his estate goes to his wife Ann Williams, whom he appoints executrix.
