COPY WILL of James Price of parish of Whitford, co. Flint, gent. Leaves to wife Catherine (nee Jones) £400 due to her from her marriage settlement and an additional £300 and all the household goods she possessed at the time of her marriage. The rest of his household goods he leaves to use of his wife while she lives and afterwards to be shared among next of kin. Devises leasehold premises in Whitford Street (formerly leased to the Ellis Owens by Thomas Pennant, deceased) and shares in leasehold messuages in Brynfford near Holywell (purchased from Edward Price, deceased - on lease from John Ellis Mostyn) and messuages in Penyball, Holywell in lease from Lord Gray, and Dr. Wilton (purchased from Elizabeth widow of Thomas Jones Smith, deceased) to James Williams and William Davies of Llandudno, co. Caernarfon, miners in trust. They are to pay an annuity of £40 out of the third property to his wife Catherine, and they are to allow his wife to live rent free in his house in Whitford Street, Holywell, until she dies or remarries. On her death the premises are to be divided amongst his next of kin. The trustees must also pay £50 to Thomas Pierce and Sarah Pierce, son and daughter of his late niece on their marriage or attainment of age of 21 years. The trustees must pay his sister Dorothy Jones the sum of 6/- per week during her life and his niece May Williams is to have 4/- per week unil she is 15 years old. The trustees are to pay the remainder of rents and profits of the property to his next of kin (named in will). Leaves to brother Hugh Price all his mines during his life. On his death they are to be shared amongst his nephews. The remainder of his personal estate - farming stock and crops are left to brother Hugh Price. Appoints his brother as executor.
