OFFICE COPY WILL of Thomas Maurice late of Bryn y Gwalie, Esq., co. Denbighshire. Leaves £10 to the poor of the parish of Llangedwyn. To his brother Richard Maurice leaves £100. To his brother Robert Maurice leaves £150. To his sister Jane Edwards leaves £150. To his sister Elizabeth Davies leaves £250. To his sister Mary Jones leaves £250. To his sister Gwen Maurice leaves £250. To his niece Jane Maurice leaves £50 all of which legacies are to be charged on his real estate. Leaves all his houses and lands, etc. to his brother Richard Maurice and his brothers in law Thomas Edwards, clerk, and John Humphreys Jones, Esq., for a term of 50 years in trust to raise a mortgage to raise money to pay off the legacies. Leaves his real estate, subject to the aforesaid mortgage, to his wife, Mary Maurice, during her life in lieu of an annuity of £80 under her marriage settlement, after her death the estates are to go to his brother, Richard Maurice. The rest of his personal estate he leaves to his wife whom he appoints as executrix.
