X/POOLE/2377

1) The Mayor, Bailiffs and Burgesses of the town of Caernarfon. 2) William Lowe of the Inner Temple, London, gent. COPY MORTGAGE by demise of lands in the parish of Llanbeblig, co. Caernarfon, called Rhosdickingoch and Pant y clafrdy and Cibbin y Mur also Tott Hill or Twthill. Recites that the Corporation of Caernarfon was responsible for maintaining the chapel of St. Mary in the town of Caernarfon but it became so ruinous that it had to be taken down and completely rebuilt. The revenues of the Corporation are inadequate for this expenditure, therefore, the Corporation lands are being mortgaged to secure a loan of £1000.
