X/POOLE/2235

LETTER: William Peacocke of Llanfair to O. A. Poole, Pencraig re the lands Bryngo, Craige, Glan y llyn and Ty Croiss. He wishes to finish enclosing it, as he had halted during the suit. Discusses the question and the various farms surrounding the common he purchased from Mr. Stoddard, Lord Newborough, Mr. Hughes of Gwidderin, and Lord Bulkeley. He also needs to find people still living who would be able to advise on the value of the farms Llanedwen and Llwynogan in the year 1775 but adds that "unless I go in quest of them to the Next World I fear I shall find very few".

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
