COPY LETTER from the Bishop of Bangor to Mr. Goodman, Clerk to the Commissioners. He refuses to accept lands in lieu of Tithes. None of the incumbents whose lands lie in the area to be drained will be permitted to make a similar agreement. The tithe owners should however bear some part of the burden of enclosure. He agrees to a money composition in lieu of all tithes for the first few years.
