LETTER: Rev. Hugh Owen from Dublin to Poole. Discusses the question of the curacy of Aberffraw. He does not want to reduce the present curate’s salary but if he leaves he hopes to arrange more moderate terms with his successor. He is having difficulty in fullfilling the commission for Lady Owen’s gloves. Discusses various financial business and hopes Miss Poole will soon come over to visit them. Mentions the unsettled state of the war and whether there are hopes of a peace. He sends Poole a 1783 Watson’s calendar to direct him over the sands. Discusses various other family business.
