X/POOLE/1195

LETTER: Rev. Hugh Owen from Orielton to Poole. Gives an account of his journey to Pembrokeshire to pay his respects to the Baronet. Lady Owen is expecting her first child. The fact that the combined fleet is at sea is causing much conjecture and an engagement is expected soon. The British fleet, however, is outnumbered. Other family and social matters.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
