X/POOLE/1146

LETTER: Rev. Hugh Owen to Richard Poole. He asks leave to begin a correspondence with Poole and thanks him for his unsolicited kindness in urging his friends to secure the vacancy of Aberffraw for him. He asks Poole to make arrangements for Mr. Hugh Owen to forward his appointment to him. He will come over to Anglesey as soon as he has received his appointment. He asks Poole if there will be any difficulty in his getting possession of the parish as he does not speak Welsh.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
