X/POOLE/1017

LETTER: H. Owen from London to Poole. He intends to have the whole of his estate surveyed and mapped. He is pleased Poole has secured substantial tenants for some of the byeholds who will build houses there. Gives Poole instructions re individual tenants. He thinks the Knivetons have more than they can manage at present. There is a lot of waste ground at Bodowen which could be improved.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
