MEMORANDUM to the J.Ps. of Anglesey. A petition from the inhabitants of the parish of Llanerchymedd was recently submitted to them stressing the advantages that a lockup for disorderly persons would bring. The J.Ps. ordered £35 for the erection of a lock up at Llanerchymedd. They purchased the materials for the building at the price laid down in the estimate but the lowest tender they have been able to get for the completion of the building is £76. They complain that the extra cost will be a great burden on the inhabitants and ask for further financial assistance. With signatures of the inhabitants.
