X/POOLE/493

LETTER: Mrs. M. Lee to Major Robert Hamilton, Conwy, her brother. She is shocked at Robert Lee’s actions in claiming the debt from Major Hamilton. She has offered to accept the money owed by Major Hamilton as her share of money due from her father but he refused. He himself has made no settlement with her. She is amazed that Robert Lee could have written such letters and fears for his sanity. Attached is a sample of Robert Lee’s handwriting.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
