X/POOLE/491

LETTER: R. Hamilton of Conwy to Capt. Dodd. He denies ever speaking to the Duke of Kent on the subject of his misfortunes. The letter sent to the Duke of Kent is a forgery. He is annoyed at the liberty taken by the person sending the letter; however well intentioned he may be. A similar forged letter has been sent to Lord Harrington in Ireland.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
